Wilmette Wings Soccer Club

Game 3 was against Chicago Magic and we knew it would be tough as we played them twice in indoor. It was about 4-1 at half time as they took advantage of their chances. But we did play well in the 1st half and just some bad marking and no pressure allowed them to get comfy. Nick-R scored a lovely goal as he fought shoulder to shoulder with the defender and was able to score a nice deserved goal. In the 2nd half we were playing a good game but we were unable to get goals for our work. Nick-T scored a great goal from about 30 yards as he cannoned the ball into the top corner. I did move players around positions to give them different exposure. Good games by Nick-R/Colin-G/Bo/David/Cam. We need to work on looking up when we get the ball/composure in opponents box/clearing out of the back to US. I'm still very encouraged by our teams fight and we will start to get some results. I have told them that its one thing to lose but if we fight and give 100%, I cant argue with that...and that's what they are doing.
