The Wilmette Wings Pre-Season Camp

The camp is designed to prepare Wilmette Wing players for the fall travel season.  Though not mandatory, the camp is strongly encouraged to build conditioning, continuity, individual skill and team dynamics for the fall season.

Most of the teams and players will be coached by their Wings coach or the Wings staff coaches, and the curriculum for the week has been designed by the Wilmette Wings Director of Soccer, Gerry Canavan: USSF “A” Licensed Coach and former fitness coach for the Chicago Fire of Major League Soccer.

The Camp focus:                             

Small Sided Games, Shooting , Crossing & Finishing , 1v1 Attacking, 1v1 Defending, Combination play, Passing & Receiving, Footwork, Agility & Conditioning.

 Fee: $165

Location: Avoca Fields @ Marie Murphy School 2921 Illinois Road

Players should report 10 minutes early each day with shin guards and a water bottle.
If weather conditions prohibit camp, we will try to accommodate for lost time by adding time onto sessions throughout the week, but we cannot guarantee with weather.
