The Wilmette Wings's Pre-Season Camp

The camp is designed to prepare Wilmette Wing player's for the fall travel season.

The Camp focus:

Soccer Program for kids ages 4-8


The Yorkshire Mini-Soccer program was created by Gerry Canavan and Abe Stumme who have taught thousands of children the skills necessary to play recreational and travel soccer. Gerry is the Director of Soccer for the Wilmette Wings Travel Soccer Club and a former coach for the professional soccer team the Chicago Fire. Abe is the Director of Mini-Soccer, Head Trainer for the Wilmette Wings Soccer Club, and regarded as one the of the best youth coaches in the Chicago-land area. Together Abe and Gerry have developed the Mini-Soccer program to cater to both beginning and experienced youth soccer player. Each class is a fun-filled environment while focusing on coordination, skills, teamwork, tactics, and sportsmanship.
